Sabudana vada

Ingredients 
Sabudana/ javvarisi -1cup
Potato- 3no(medium size)
Green chilli-4nos
Chopped curryleaves-3spoons
Chopped coriander leaves- handfull
Salt-as required
Rice flour-3tbsp
Peanut -4tbsp
Onion (chopped)-1/2cup
Hing -1/4tbsp
Method
• Soak the cup of sabudana in water for 3-4 hours
• Boil potatoes, peal the skin and mash it well
• Dry roast the peanut  and grind it to a coarse powder
• Now take a wide bowl, drain the water from sabudana and squeeze it well and add it to the bowl
• Add in the mashed potatoes, and add all the other ingredients
• Mix it well with your hands (sabudana should be blended with potatoes)
• Heat oil in a pan, apply little oil in your hands, take small balls and make it into a vada
• Now deep fry in the oil , fry till it turns golden brown


Crispy vada ready!!😊
Serve hot with ketchup or any chutney !
This is one of the most simplest vada i have ever tried and the taste was excellent.
It almost looked same like a medhu vadai.
Sabudana vadai was my mother's recipe but i wanted to make it something different so I tried it with potatoes which came out so well.
These vada's were soft and tasty even after so many hours.
I totally loved this recipe 😀
