Coriander pulav

Ingredients
Basmati rice-1 cup
Water-1.5 cups
Onion-1
Carrot-1
Potato-1
Turmeric powder-1/4tbsp
Garam masala-1/4tbsp
Daniya powder-1/2tbsp
Greenchilli-2nos
Garlic-4-5nos
Salt-as required
To grind
Coriander leaves- 1 handfull
Greenchilli-1no
Ginger-1 small piece
Garlic-4nos
Small onions- 4-5 nos
Grind everything to a fine paste by adding some water
Method
Heat ghee and oil in a cooker add cinnamon and jeera.
Add thinly sliced onions , green chilli and garlic.
Now add in the grinded paste and cook till the raw smell goes.
After oil oozes out add turmeric powder, daniya, garam masala powder.
Then add the chopped vegetables , measured water and allow it to boil.
Add salt after it starts boiling,then add the soaked basmati rice.
Mix well and wait till all the water absorbs.
Now add a spoon of ghee and close the cooker.
Cook for 2 whistle or wait for 10mins (low heat)

Masala raitha
Take a bowl of thick curd add some salt and mix well
Garnish with roasted jeera powder,chat masala,red chilli powder and coriander leaves
Do the garnishing before serving

Coriander pulav and masala raitha makes the best combination! 

I thought of making this pulav when there were so many coriander leaves left out in my fridge and this came out so very well. Also making a normal plain pulav was bit boring 😝 So wanted to try out something different.
