Method
Soaking basmati rice:
I always do it this way to get long and non sticky rice
* Wask basmati rice 2-3times and soak it for 30minutues
* Then drain the water and keep it aside for another 15minutes
• Now heat the cooker with butter, add in all the spices to be tempered
• After it splutters, add green chilli, crushed ginger garlic and onions and a handfull of chopped coriander ( adding this gives that mild green colour to the pulav)
• Saute till onion turns golden brown, then add peas and chopped carrot.
• Add turmeric powder ,garam masala, salt.
• Mix it and add the measured water , allow it to boil
• Finally add the basmati rice and after the water absorbs add coriander leaves, a tbsp of ghee and close the cooker and reduce the flame
• Wait till 2 whistles or 10 mins

Yummy peas pulav readyyyyyyyy 😀
I always follow the same method for any kind of pulav.
This is the basic way of making pulav, you can add any veggies to it.
I have made this pulav very mild, incase you want it spicy add some more green chillies.
This goes well with any raitha or any gravies.
As the pulav was mild I served it with mushroom masala😊
