Butter biscuits

Ingredients 
Maida/aata -1cup
Powdered sugar- 1/2cup
Butter(unsalted)- 50gms or 1/2cup(to the quantity equal to sugar)
Milk - 4-5tbsp (u can adjust according to the dough consistency)
Baking powder-1/2 tbsp
Salt-2pinch
Vanilla essence- 1tbsp (optional)
Cashews- finely shopped
Note- measure everything in one cup

Method
1.Mix together maida,salt,baking powder, sieve it and keep aside
2.In a bowl take the butter ( it should be in room temperature)
mix it well for 5mins using a whisk ,it should become creamy and soft
3.now add sugar and vanilla essence and mix well again
4.Add maida mixture and combine everything using your hands
5. Slowly add milk by seeing the consistency
6. It should be like a soft chapathi dough
7. Knead well until it becomes a soft dough
8. Now divide it into 2 halves and dust some maida
roll it slowly(as butter is the
main ingredient the dough will be very soft to roll so do it slowly)
9. With a cookie cutter or with any lid of the container
 which is sharp , cut the cookies
You can try it in any shape you prefer
After u cut, remove the extras
10. In a baking tray apply butter and arrange all the biscuits
11. Now top the biscuits with cashews , if u add it first, it will be
difficult for u to roll
12. Preheat the oven at 180*c and bake for 15-20 mins
13. Check in between. Take the biscuits and arrange in a grill rack
and allow it to cool for sometime , only after its cooled completely 
you will get the crispy texture. So when u take out from the oven
it will be little soft

Pressure cooker method:
Continue the same method till no 9
Take a aluminium vessel apply some butter and arrange the biscuits
Cover the bottom of the cooker by adding some sand or salt
Keep some stand over it, may be idly thattu or cooker stand
Remove gasket and whistle , close the cooker and preheat it for 5 mins on
a high flame
After 5mins, reduce the flame and keep the aluminium vessel slowly
Close the lid and let it cook in low flame for 25-30mins
In between u can open and see
Finally take out & allow it to cool for sometime
